Black out dates and integration with a POS system?

Hello!
We have a client that would like to set up black out dates. Here’s their request and our main question:

Secure checkout page with blackout dates. Can this be integrated w/
Lightspeed (my POS system)

Can this integrate with a POS system?

Hi Rob,

First off, can you define what a Blackout Date is please?

Secondly, regarding POS systems, we have no integrations in place. I would recommend contacting a developer (like one of these: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/) to have something custom built.

By black out date I mean one that isn’t available to the customer for booking.

Hi Rob,

I’m not sure I understand a black out date.

Within Event Espresso events are created for a specific date, or date range, so if we do not want to allow booking for a certain date we simply do not create an event for that date.

I will depend on the event setup but generally speaking each day of an event is a separate instance of that event within Event Espresso.
