Hi there, I am using EE4 and WP4.0.

I have some events that have multiple venues and multiple schedules. For instance, a two event with a skeet tournament (sub event 1) at a skeet range and a golf tournament (sub event 2) at a golf course. What would be the best practice way to handle this? Would you set up multiple date times? I’m also dealing with team and individual pricing for each event.

Secondly how best to handle something like a free event tshirt? Would you suggest using a free “ticket” for a S/M/L/XL shirt, or capture this info as a question?

Sorry, I’m sure these have been covered before but I could not find it!

Hi Racheal,

I think you could go with either a) make each tournament its own event or b) make each tournament its own datetime within an event. Option a will be the better choice if you’ll be using the Venue manager, since an event can be assigned to only one venue.

Since you’re not charging extra for the t-shirt, it’d be best to capture the info as a registration form question.
