Greetings! We offer training courses for the general public, and have about 15 different course types. Each of these courses are offered multiple times per month in different locations and at different times (some events are multi-day).

What is the best way to set up events where I don’t have to enter so much information each time? At this point, for each event I have to enter the title, the description, the event datetime(s), change the amount of attendees that are allowed to attend, set up the ticket sale start/end times, the price, the quantity, the venue, the event category, set up any custom fields, select the proper page default, etc… you get the idea.

I think the duplicate event option should work best for population of the events over the next year, but when duplicating, I still have to change dates, etc…

I guess I’m asking if I’m right to be creating a new event for every occurrence of a class, or if I should be using some sort of Event Datetimes and Ticket setup to accommodate multiple event occurrences.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi there,

It probably would not hurt to group some of the related events together into a single event, then you put more than one date time option within one event, and then attach each date time to a ticket. For example, it might best to group a months worth of events together like that.
