Hi there,

I noticed I’m not receiving administrator “payment received” emails, I figure for about 3 or 4 days now.

When I went in to send myself a test email, I get three times in a row,

“Be aware that the html messenger is inactive. This means that any html related shortcodes will parse to an empty string.
Be aware that the html messenger is inactive. This means that any html related shortcodes will parse to an empty string.
Be aware that the html messenger is inactive. This means that any html related shortcodes will parse to an empty string.”

The test email never shows up either. I installed the mail logger and that seems to confirm what I see.

I haven’t messed with anything on the website but I did recently migrate servers, a few weeks back.

Any idea what I can try? I already used “reset roles” in the maintenance, to no avail.

Hi Peter,

Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

On the HTML section make sure the toggle switch is switched on an you can see message types listed in that section like this – http://take.ms/U1Gl6

This appears to have been the problem. Toggle switch fixed it. Now I’m just letting the Mandrill backlog clear, thanks.
