Hi there. We use EE4 a LOT (traininginpower.com) – love it. About 80% of our students for course events are in Canada, 20% US. Tiny bit in Europe but growing.
Will the bank transfer option work for depositing to our Canada bank?
Second question unrelated: can I search Events by Venue (wish list) – go see how many I deal with!

Hi,
The bank transfer option provided by Event Espresso simply displays information for how to pay by bank transfer. You could check with you bank to see what’s involved for someone from another country to do a funds transfer, then update the instructions on your site accordingly.
With regards to searching for events by venue, are you referring to the front end of the site or on the admin side?

Thanks for the speedy response Josh!
I meant Venue search on the Admin site. I often get emails saying “do you have courses in Vancouver in May”. Would be ideal to “search” for “Vancouver” and then use the other Filters you provide to narrow dates and options. Thanks!

Hi,
What you can do is add the following code to a custom site plugin:
https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/45ab71386226095fc228b399e1ed4b45
You can add the above to a functions plugin or, if available, into your WordPress child theme’s functions.php file.
The above code will expand the search query to include the Venue City field.
