After selecting ‘Bank Draft’ as a payment method, nothing displays after the ‘Finalize Registration’ button has been pressed.
Have checked forum, WP and site URLs are identical, NOT using the WP hosted engine – is running as stand-alone on the domain

When you say ‘nothing displays’ is it just a whitescreen or can you not see bank details on the thank you page?

Can you either link to the event so we can run a test registration, or post a screenshot so we can see what shows on your site please?

Please visit http://adarockhampton.org.au/index.php/conferences/events/ and register to see the outcome of ‘Funds Tranfer’. There is nothing displayed in terms of bank details when the confirmation of registration screen displays

Hi there,
It appears that the Heartbeat API (included in WordPress core) has been disabled on your site’s Thank You page. Is there a plugin that’s being used to disable it, or is it something your host is disabling site wide?

I installed WordPress myself onto the server so I doubt the hosting service has done anything to block the heartbeat. Can you offer some advice on how to check the WP setting that might be blocking this.
There are very few PlugIns on the site, so again, doubt this would be influencing
I appreciate any guidance you can offer

There isn’t a WP setting that blocks the Heartbeat API, but there is some code that can be used to stop it. You’ll see some example code here:

If the heartbeat API isn’t disabled on your site by another script, it may be that it’s not loading there on the Thank You page for some reason. In which case you can go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Critical Pages and re-save the options there and that may help.

I have installed a Heartbeat plugin and tested both a ‘default’ setting and ‘allow post pages’ option. Neither changed the problem I’m seeing.
Aslo went to Setting>Critical Pages and saved without any success
Do you have any further suggestions Josh?

I didn’t suggest to install a Heartbeat plugin. If the Heartbeat API is disabled on the front end of your website, you’ll need to find what’s disabling it and remove that.
You can also try temporarily switching to another WordPress theme to check whether the theme is interfering with the Heartbeat API.

OK, I will trial an alternative theme and see what happens
