Every time someone registers and pays through Paypal, I receive an email letting me know about their registration. If someone signs up and does NOT pay, I don’t know that they signed up unless I manually scroll through the events. Can I be automatically notified when someone registers (without paying)?
The system allows people to register without paying, so before today they were showing up in my attendee list but not being accounted for in the headcount. I changed the “default payment status” from “Incomplete” to “Pending.” This seems to have solved the immediate problem. Now, anyone that registers shows up in my headcount. In the event that I wanted everyone to pay in advance, is this possible? Is there any way to not have this be a 2-step registration process? Can we make it so that first name, last name, email address, and payment information are all accepted in the same place/same time?
A payment is needed for the registration to be approved and for the email notification to go out. You can’t accept a payment without a registration beforehand.
