Automatic Upgrade Needs Reset

I see there are many posts about this but no instructions on how to reset the key. We have the same issue — only one domain using EE ( but message that automatic upgrade is stopped because it can only be used on one domain. Perhaps there was a test domain when it was set up? Still, where does user access this?
