I am receiving this message on my site http://www.massagelearningcenter.com. “There is an automatic update for Event Espresso available but your Site License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

I logged into my account and it shows the key is registered to this site. It is the only site that I have running your program. Can you please help with this?

I reset your license key. You may also need to do this too:

Seth,

Thank you for your help. The reset worked and then I followed the directions to update the key in my settings area. Now, there is another update and I am getting the same error again. Can you please help with this.

I just reset the key again. Please try updating the settings again.

FYI. We are working making the license key api a little more relaxed. So that our users don;t have so many problems with this.

Thanks for your patience!

I need this resolved as soon as possible. I sent a couple of posts and an email but no reply. My reset now seems to be in a pending mode and not sure why. Anyhow, I can’t add events to espresso until this is resolved. I’m getting the same errors as above. I have a single license which you recently updated (August) and it was working until recently. Maybe your new site update caused things to malfunction. Can you reset and let me know it’s fixed? I don’t have any add ons or old software hanging around that I know of. You updated things, like I said.

Thanks, but what do you mean “Follow the above”??

Hi I meant follow Seths instructions (https://eventespresso.com/topic/site-moved-licensing-did-not-like-it/#post-17584) basically remove the key from your settings, save, insert the key from your accounts page into your settings and resave

I’m getting this error at the top of my general settings screen after adding back the key you reset (which is the same as before).

You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

On the Event Overview screen where I would normally add or modify my events, my long list of events doesn’t display but gives me this err:

(SELECT e.id event_id, e.event_name, e.event_identifier, e.reg_limit, e.registration_start, e.start_date, e.is_active, e.recurrence_id, e.registration_startT, e.wp_user , e.venue_title, e.phone, e.address, e.address2, e.city, e.state, e.zip, e.country FROM val7007_events_detail e WHERE e.event_status != ‘D’ ) ORDER BY start_date ASC

My existing events still display but I cannot add or modify anything.

Everything was fine until you launched your new site for espresso and since you installed the last update just a few weeks before, none of this makes sense. This is not good.

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

I am having this same issue (for the second time) – my license key has been set since install, but I’m suddenly getting a message that my key hasn’t been set, and I can’t upgrade. I deleted my key, saved, then re-entered my key and saved – no change.

@Michel, I have reset the licence key, removing, saving, and entering the key from your Accounts page.

Sorry for delay. I’m traveling. Just sent you a logon using the contact form you asked me to use.

I am also getting this alert on my wordpress site:

You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

I am only using Event Espresso on one site (alifenow.com) and I have copied and pasted the license key into the proper place on the Event Espresso general settings page. I have deleted and repasted the key but still get the message. Please advise as to what to do.

Thanks, Michael Church

@mchurch, I have reset your licence key, try removing saving, and adding the key from your account details (sometimes they change) and resaving.

I did as you recommended, but still getting this message:

You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

What should I do?

I responded via email on this, it’s fixed now. Looked like an error on installation.
