Help, I have seen the forums where you have had to reset some peoples license keys so that they can use the auto update. Can you please do the same for me because its not allowing me to auto update because of an error.

Thanks

Hi Candi,

I’ve reset the key. Please see this post for some additional tips if the issues persist:

Josh, Thank you for your help, I keep getting this error message on my admin panel. I only have event espresson on one domain.
“You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Permissions Basic but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

Hi Candi,

Can you try deleting and re-installing a fresh copy of the Espresso Permissions Basic Add-on? You can download a fresh copy from your account page.

Ok just downloaded a fresh copy of permissions and installed it. I am still getting the error message.

When I try to register for an event, I get this error message on my Event Registration page:

“It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty. Please go to the events page and try again.”

WHY??

Hi Candi,

I’ve reset your key again.

For the other issue with the error message -> Can you try clearing your browser’s cache?

Also, if you’ve updated the plugin recently, another thing to check is if there are older versions of templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates.

Thanks Josh, but I have cleared my cache several times actually. I still can’t register for an event unless i’m logged in. I have contacted WP-Member but no response yet.

Do you have the WP user integration add-on set to only allow registrations for logged in members?

You can check this setting under Event Espresso>Member Settings.

On that screen, there is an option to “Require login for all events”

Would it be possible to request a licence reset? There are no copies of event espresso on my server, the domain associated with my account is correct and the support tokens match. Despite all of this I am still not able to auto update my site.

Hey Josh, to give you an update, I had to load a backed up version of my site and everything works fine now. Turns out i updated the cache plugin and that is what caused my site to do all the weird things. I will update all my plugins after my event is over with just so it doesn’t get messed up again. Thank you for all your support.
