Automated/Scheduled Registrant Notifications

Would like to make a feature request of EE4.

We leverage EE4 for game tickets. Every game day we send a reminder email using the batch messages function. However, I think a fantastic feature would be an automated reminder system that would send day before/day of reminder emails to registrants. As we all know humans are usually the problem in any system and I would very much like to get out of the reminder business.
