We run a full day or 1/2 day of 1-hour sessions as an event for a given day. A session can be 9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-noon…etc. and participants sign up for a specific 1-hour session. Once they register, the client receives a confirmation email using the TICKET_NAME field (referenced in the TICKET_LIST window) to display their session name (ie 9am-10am session). There is no issue with this confirmation message. HOWEVER there is an issue with the Automated Upcoming Datetime Notification reminder email that references TICKET_NAME in the TICKET_LIST window. The TICKET_NAME field in this reminder email sends the list of ((list of TICKET_NAMES) sessions ie “9am-10am session, 10am-11am session, 11am-noon session…….” in this email body to the participant. This reminder message with the list of all sessions is confusing some of our clients. ****** How can this Reminder message be changed to ONLY include the specific TICKET_NAME session (ie “9am-10am session” or 10am-11am session”) that was originally selected and registered by the client?

Hi there!

Thanks for contacting us today.

I would like to check your Event settings, just to make sure why it’s happening since our Datetime Notification display the “SPECIFIC_DATETIME_START and SPECIFIC_DATETIME_END” stated in the Event Tickets & Datetimes: https://share.cleanshot.com/T29BML – check if you assigned each Event Time to the correct ticket.

If everything seems correct, share your WordPress access here:

Cheers,

a client signs up for a Ticket for $x. each ticket had a max number of seats. Each ticket is a time slot. The Ticket Names on the list are called “1. 9am-10am session”, “2. 10am-11am session, “3. 11am-noon session” , etc. Session run all day. When a client initially registers for a session, the confirmation email has the 1 Ticket_Name purchased on the email. The Reminder email however has the entire list of ticket_names on the email. I am using TICKET_NAME in both cases in Messages. I only want the 1 TICKET_NAME (or time slot” referenced in the email.

So basically a Ticket is a 1 hour time slot!

Hi there,

I checked over this and the short answer is to make the TICKET_LIST shortcode specific to the current recipient by changing the shortcode to be [RECIPIENT_TICKET_LIST].

I’ve done this on the template it looks like you recently tested, can you check if this fixes the issue for you?

Hi. The Automated Reminder email went out this morning all to participants. It sent the whole ticket name list again. SEE SESSION TOME BELOW in the email exempt below. I now see the participant’s selected ticket was listed first on the list. It should only show 1 TCKET NAME, not the list.

See below automated reminder email that was sent

The automated reminder email just went out. It’s is still not working. See message. The entire Ricky list is sent to the participanT.

It is the “Event Adam level” Automated Reminder Messages that are being triggered sent out to Reminders to Participants NOT the “Recipient Level” Automated Reminder Message. How do we get the Reminders to go out to each participant with their one selected Ticket? ie “10am-11am Session” Not the entire ticket List. There is no Recipient_Ticket_List field in the “Event Level Admin” Reminder Message Template.

Hi. I now understand. The recipient_ticket_list does work for the recipient reminders. Thank you. This issue is now closed.
