Auto Return URL is saying 404 from POST form, but works with regular GET

Using Firstdata in sandbox mode, after “Complete Purchase” the page request “spins” for quite some time, eventually leading to a 404.

If I copy and paste the same link it says was not found, it loads the page fine.

We’re not using Force SSL and the auto return URL does have the proper short code.

WordPress 3.8.1
EE 3.1.36.3.P (haven’t updated because of some customizations, mainly to the item display, removed the info section)
