Hello there,
Is it possible for an attendee to be automatically logged in upon registering for an event?
We receive an auto email with a username and password in, but not default instruction of what the attendee should do with the information.
Is it also possible for Event Espresso to automatically create a user account for the attendee i.e. one that can be viewed within the Users section of WordPress?
Obviously, our client will encourage customers to become members, but there seems to be no way for an attendee to see or modify their event information.

Hi Spencer,
The sample code from Github is a starting point and isn’t intended to be a complete solution.
The features that you asked about are possible and would take some custom coding. Unfortunately, we can’t write that code for you.

Hey Lorenzo,
Sorry for the continuous questions: why is a username and password created for the attendees by default, but they are not given a link to log into their account?
It seems that they are not created as users, so what are they meant to log into? For reasons known, logging in the usual way via login.php doesn’t work.
I’m confused about the functionality of the attendees account, and the purpose of a username and password, including why the confirmation template is in plain text whereas all others are editable html within the plugin editor.
Am I missing something extremely obvious?

Hi Spencer, the feature (creating WP user account on registration) that you are asking about is not a native feature of Event Espresso 3 core plugin. The sample code was created by a team member.
If you need additional customization to that code, then you would need to check with a developer:
