Authorize.net SIM login error

Hello,

I saw your other post which is similar to this one and this is what you reported:

(13) The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive

The error above means that there is a problem with the credentials. I understand that you have checked with Authorizenet but that error comes from their servers directly so this isn’t something that Event Espresso is creating.

I do have a few questions that will help pinpoint the issue:

Is this a new Authorizenet account or has it been used previously for processing payments?

You mentioned that Authorizenet is in testing mode. Could you confirm that you are using a live account enabled for payment processing and you have turned on the debug mode in the payment methods screen in your WP dashboard?

Is there any extra spacing before or after the credentials? This could happen during a copy and paste from the Authorizenet settings page to the settings page in your WP dashboard.
