Authorize.Net SIM Invoice Generation

I’m looking for help regarding invoice generation using Authorize.net SIM in EE4 Full version. There are certain fields in the auto-produced invoice such as Order Information – Description and Order number, that are not as descriptive or precise as our registration office requires. How does Event Espresso export order information to Authorize.net and where can we modify these settings.

Ideally we would have invoice (not the invoice payment feature, but the invoice in authorize.net that gets populated with customer information during the registration process) that contains customer name, customer id, event name, and possibly even datetimes (if available)

Hi there,

It turns out these are not set in settings, but we’ll welcome any pull requests to add a filter hook in the code to allow for changing the defaults.

That would be very helpful – What do you mean specifically? Are you referring to adding custom code to the EEG_AuthorizeNet_Sim.gateway.php file? Which would get overwritten during updates. Would it be possible create a settings page in EE4 authorize.net SIM portal on the admin-side where we could have the invoice read out the following fields:
Event Name, Customer Name, Customer ID number, Event Datetimes

Could this get released in an update?
Also we are looking for several other features in future updates – I’m not sure this support chat is the proper place to request them.

Hello,

I remember our conversation via email from prior to the new year.

While we understand your use case, this isn’t something that we can commit to immediately adding at this time. Our team is currently working on various area of the project including Event Espresso 4, new add-ons, new payment gateways, etc.

If we get additional requests, then we may have another look at this request.

You can ask about the other requests here and we’ll share feedback or an idea on setting it up if it can be done right now.
