Hello,

I have a client who is wondering if it is possible for Event Espresso to also send the event name to Authorize.net for use in reports. As it stands right now, when she runs a report on Authorize.net, she can’t tell which event each payment is for. Is this something that can be fixed?

Their website is currently on WP 3.5.2.
They are using version 3.1.35.2.P of Event Espresso.
It is not a new installation or recently upgraded.
Their registration page is: https://edmondfinearts.com/schedule/

Thanks so much!

Hi, this information is sent as part of the Itemized Order Information.

I do see that you are running an older version of Event Espresso so I would try backing up and updating to the current version:

It looks like their version of Event Espresso is new enough to include that feature. Where can I find that setting?

Another piece of information that might be important is that they are using the multi-event registration feature.

The event name is in the Authorize.net data, just not in the product description. If you open up the details of the transaction, you will see it in the line item description. Since you are using the MER, the customer could sign up for multiple events, so which event’s name would appear on the transaction’s description is ambiguous. To remove that ambiguity, the event name was moved to the description of the line item.
