we are using EE version 3.1.36.5.P and we were getting the event name sent to authorize.net. Now it has totally stopped. We are in need of support quickly as now we are getting registrations for events that our accounting people can’t see what its for…
It’s the AIM. I researched it and apparently your company deleted the description field from the AIM php file. I added a line of code into the aim_ipn.php file and am waiting to see if this fixes it.
I asked a team member to help me with this. We send the event name in the itemized area of the order. This ensures that all events are recorded to the order.
If you add the description line to the payment gateway, then you’ll only see the first event that has been registered for and not all of them. This will be an issue if you are using the multiple payment gateway add-on.
With that mentioned, you can move a copy of your payment gateway to a safe location to preserve your customizations so they are not lost on a software update.
Here is how to do that:
1) Login to your site with an SFTP client (filezilla and cyberduck are free options)
2) Browse to this location:
wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/aim
3) Download the folder to your computer
4) Browse to this location using your SFTP client:
wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways
5) Upload the aim folder there
