Hello EE support team! Our authorize.net payment module is not passing the event name over to authorize.net. The description field is blank. I found this function which seems to pass the data needed, but somehow it’s not going all the way through. Please advise, thanks |
Hi Jill, I will pass this one over to one of the devs that works with the payment gateways, so we will get back to you on it. |
Hi Dean, how is this going? Students are signing up for classes and it is getting difficult to tell what they are paying for. Please help! Thanks |
Hello Jill, The developer I assigned this to has been ill, I have reassigned it. |
Hi Jill, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The developers have some further questions, mainly have you modified the payment gateway files at all? Is there any gateway file templates in your uploads/espresso folder? |
Hi Dean, Yes, we made customizations to the payment gateway display. Here are all the files in our gateway over ride directory. Please check it out and get back to me. It’s been almost a month since reporting this problem and we’d like to get it resolved ASAP. Thanks |
Hi Jill, First things first, please can you rename the folder in order to stop the plugin using those modified files. This will confirm/deny whether its just a file modification that is causing the issue or not. |
Hi Jill, Did the removal of the templates resolve the issue at hand? Thanks |
Hi Dean, I changed the name of the espresso folder to espresso_test. During checkout I noticed that my customization were no longer there. This confirms that the plugin was using the standard files shipped with event espresso. I completed a purchase and checked the authorize.net merchant gateway. Sure enough, there is no text in the description field. Can you please relay this information to the developer assigned to this issue? thank you, |
Done, the issue is being looked at in relation with another ticket, so the devs are keeping track of this. We will keep you posted. Thanks |
Hi there, Which version of Event Espresso is currently installed? There were changes that were made to Event Espresso 3.1.28 that added the itemized description being sent to Authnet, and this wasn’t in the prior version. |
