I have just installed Event Expresso and when I go to Payment Methods Authorize.net is not listed.

Hi there,
When you go to your site admin, at the bottom of the page it shows something like:
Online event registration and ticketing powered by Event Espresso – {version}
Does yours end in .p or .decaf?

It says .decaf. I may have caused this as I searched for an Event Expresso plugin and added it before I started following your instructions

Ok, that means you are using the ‘free’ version of Event Espresso.
Go to Dashboard -> Plugins.
Deactivate and Delete Event Espresso.
Go to your account page: https://eventespresso.com/users/rstorrsusa-net/
Click on the Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v4.10.40.p link in the downloads section to download the .zip file.
Upload that to the site in Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload Plugin.
Activate that version.
You now have the ‘full’ version which should show you a version of auth.net to use in Event Espresso -> Payment methods.
