We are noticing that refunds processed through eventespresso using authorize.net are not being refunded. Payment transactions are going through but refunds are not. Can you help me troubleshoot?
Event Espresso does not process refunds through the payment merchant automatically, you would need to manually add those refunds into the admin using the Apply Refund button just below that list of payments.
So in short, to process a refund you first refund that payment through Auth.net.
Then manually apply the refund within Event Espresso.
We’ve had a few users request the same functionality previously.
Right now we are working on features with much higher numbers of requests but we do have this request on our roadmap for a future version if you’d like to add your vote to it:
