Authorize.net codes needed

Hi there!
We’re having trouble getting the authorize.net to work when making payments!

The error we’re getting is that either the Merchant id or the password aren’t correct, BUT we don’t see a place to enter that!

We’re going back to the client to check again for the API Login ID and the Transaction Key. We thought we had it, but now not sure. Is there a place to entre the merchant id and a password?? Very confused with the error it’s giving us.

Please assist.

Hi there,

It looks like you are using the Authorize.net AIM payment method.

So to update the settings for that you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods -> Authorize.net AIM (the name may have been changed on your site, but it will have a green cog icon to show it is active)

yup – that’s exactly what we’re already using. We don’t need a paid extension do we?

A paid extension from Event Espresso? No, Auth.net AIM is included within the core plugin.

So you have all of the correct details from Auth.net added into the payment method fields ad it still shows the API Login ID is missing?
