What do I need to do to switch from Authorize.net AIM to Authorize.net Accept?

Here is the official announcement with instructions for transitioning to Accept: https://support.eventespresso.com/article/612-deprecated-payment-methods-2025
Generally, speaking:
– install the Authorize.net Accept addon to your WordPress website
– activate the add-on
– go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Authorize.net Accept and activate the payment method
– Add your API credentials
– Save the page
– Deactivate Authorize.net AIM
– We recommend creating a “test” event with a $1 ticket to test it all works out. Some people have seen where the payment pages is stuck “processing”, while others have not had the problem.

In Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Authorize.net AIM (tab), at the bottom of the page there is a button to Deactivate.
