I’ve put in both live credentials and the API sandbox credentials for Authorize.net Accept, but with both when I go to check out I get an error that pops up like:

There was an error initializing the payment form from Authorize.net. Plea contact the site administrator.

I have moved the site to a dev URL, disabled all plugins other than event espresso plugins, and retried the process several times.

These are the event espresso plugins I have active:
Event Espresso
Event Espresso – Attendee Mover (EE4.9.13+)
Event Espresso – Automated Upcoming Event Notification (EE 4.9.44+)
Event Espresso – Event Cart (Multi Event Registration)
Event Espresso – Events Table View Template (EE 4.4.9+)
Event Espresso – MailChimp (EE4.4.5+)
Event Espresso – Promotions (EE 4.9.10+)
Event Espresso – WordPress User Integration
Event Espresso Payment Method – Authorize.net Accept Integration

This is my system info:
WordPress Version: 6.7.1
PHP Version: 8.2.26
MySQL Version: 8.0.39
Event Espresso Version: 5.0.31.p

I can send a link to my website VIA private email but do not want to post it on a public forum

Hi there,

For Auth.net Accept to work it loads an iframe in the background to communicate with Auth.net

On your site that file is blocked:

{domain}/wp-content/plugins/eea-authnet-accept/iframe-communicator.php

Are you running any security plugins? If so, which one?

If not, then this is likely something on your hosts side and the above URL will need to be excluded from it.

I’m hosting on siteground, talked to them and they said that file is not blocked. They are wondering what IP the request is coming from on your end? If that is causing the problem then they can unblock it. I have no plugins other than event espresso active on the site.

Ok, in that case, go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> logs.

You should see log entries for each transaction, click the ID on the left to open up the log.

Any errors shown there?

That means the credentials set in the Auth.net Accept payment method are invalid, it’s a response directly from Auth.net

Their does for that response are here:

https://support.authorize.net/knowledgebase/Knowledgearticle/?code=000001206#:~:text=E00007%20%E2%80%93%20User%20authentication%20failed%20due%20to%20invalid%20authentication%20values

So it sounds like the site has the sandbox creds but its in live mode (or vise versa) or the credentials in use are incorrect (or it’s also possible that something is breaking the request sent to auth.net).

Are you 100% certain the credentials in use are correct for both the Sandbox account and Live account?
