We are having issues with our attendee list count not updating after a successful registration and payment. The count still shows zero despite multiple people signing up for an event. Our payment gateway is setup through First Data and while we also had issues with the Thank You page not working, that problem seems to be corrected now. In the general settings, I have the default payment status as incomplete and no change to the default payment status for the event itself. Event Espresso Version: 3.1.34.1.P and WordPress Version: 3.5.1. This is a new installation of Event Espresso. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks. |

September 16, 2013 at 12:36 am Hi Brian, Where exactly is the count not updating? Do you mean that the attendee overview isnt being populated with the attendee data or that the Available Spaces count isnt updating? |

On the Event Overview page where each event is listed. We have several events and all with a max of 50 seats. The Attendees column still displays 0/50, even though when you click on the attendees for the event, it does show the people who have signed up. Not sure why the count on the Event Overview page isn’t updating. |

No, their payment status is still displaying incomplete despite successful processing of the payment with First Data and payment confirmation emails from First Data. |

If they were processed while you were having problems with the thank-you page, then the payment status probably wasn’t updated in EE. Can you do some test registrations and confirm that the payment status is now getting updated in EE? |

The strange this is the attendee count WAS updating when the payment receipt/thank-you page was not working, although payments didn’t update. I initially tried AUTO-POST for the receipt page and since that wasn’t working, I switched to a redirect to the receipt page. The payment status is still not updating in Event Espresso and the attendee count is still 0/50. |
September 17, 2013 at 12:27 pm Hi Brian, There are two things to check since you’re using First Data: 1) The server’s firewall is not blocking port 1129 traffic. 2) The PEM file from your First Data account is not installed in the correct location on your site. You can verify that it’s either in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/firstdata or in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/firstdata. |
