Is it possible to have the attendee answer questions prior to adding their ticket to the basket in order to determine which ticket they need? I have a price for families and a price for professionals, I want to make sure people staying honest and checking the right box. Is this possible?
Not currently, at least not without custom development.
What you can do with EE currently is set the ‘Default registration status’ to ‘Not Approved’ on the event, that way when an attendee selects their tickets and enters their details EE will stop at that step and show a message stating they are awaiting approval. You, as the admin, can then review the registration and set it to ‘Pending Payment’ triggering a message when doing so which then allows the registrant to complete.
