Attendee Payments

I tested our site out for registering for a class. It let me sign up using a credit card and it went through no problem and it said I was confirmed. When I go to Event Overview to check it out, my name has the red exclamation point by it and does not count me on the class roster.
I believe it does the same for paypal.
What can the problem be?
