When receiving a registration notification via email, clicking the primary attendee name takes me to the following URL:
However, within the “Edit Attendee Data” record, the information is blank.
When navigating to the Attendees for the event directly in Event Espresso, it takes me to the following URL:
Here, the “Edit Attendee Data” record is correctly populated.
There are discrepancies between the “registraton_id” and “id” in the URL parameters. What is causing these discrepancies?
The reason for this, 99% of the time, is because the registrant hit the back button and resubmitted the registration form during the registration session. How EE3 handles that is instead of two (duplicated) registrations, it deletes the information from first one. So the email you received was from the first form submission within the registration session and the other attendee record is from the second form submission within the registration session.
