Attendee Mover not showing future event

Hi guys,

Yesterday tried to move two registrations to a future event but that event doesn’t display in the dropdown list.

Currently I have three active events: Two are promoting an “online” course and have ticket sales date range set 1/1/17 – 31/12/17. The other is for a course in a fortnight. The “online” courses show in the drop down list, the future course doesn’t.

That future course is showing as active, no ticket sales made yet, transfer will be like-for-like ticket.

Have been using Attendee Mover successfully (currently Version EE4.9.13+) so not sure why it wont show the future event this time.

Hi John B,

May I ask do you have the current version of the Attendee Mover activated? The current version is v1.0.1.p.

May I ask can you post a link to the event in question?

Hi Josh,

This is the link to the course I want to move them to;

https://www.tatsa.com.au/events/one-day-test-and-tag-course-level-2-23-march-2017/

Here is a link to the page with the two courses that show up when trying to do the move.

Josh,

In going to that link I have also noticed they are showing as “sold out” for some reason when in fact they should be active. Tried resaving them but still show incorrect status.

Josh,
disregard my last post about “sold out”… worked it out – was due to date formatting – had “ticket sales until” date set up under USA format instead of AUS format.

Hi JohnB,

The sold out events have some reserved tickets which should normally get released back into the inventory. We’ve found that if the Multi Event Registration plugin is activated, that doesn’t always happen, so we’ve added a button to clear the reserved tickets and that will be included in the next update of Event Espresso 4. We’re also working on a fix for EE4 core that will help prevent those reserved tickets from getting stuck in the Multi Event Registration cart. In the meantime, someone from Event Espresso support staff can go in and free those stuck tickets if you can complete the secure form on this page:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

We can also investigate that Attendee Mover issue while we’re there too.

Thank you Josh, that sundry issue is now resolved.

Problem with the attendee mover not recognising one of the active courses is the only issue presently.

OK can you check to make sure that the event start date that’s input into the date time editor follows this format?

2017-03-23 08:30 am

and end date:

2017-03-23 04:30 pm

Then when you go to the Attendee Mover page, can you try inputing
23 into the event search field there?

Hi Josh
Confirmed Start = 2017-03-23 08:30 am End = 2017-03-23 04:30 pm

Search for 23 = No Results Found

I tried recreating that event (no ticket sales on it as yet) to see if it would work with the “new” event. Unfortunately same problem 🙁

You can install this plugin:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rest-api-log/

After you activate the REST API Log plugin, you can try the attendee mover page again. Then you can check the rest API log admin page for errors. The Attendee Mover add-on actually uses the REST API to fetch events.

Josh,
Installing that plugin has allowed me to move the attendees.
Thank you
