Hi,
Is there a way to charge a user (administration fee / payment ) when using the attendee mover, i.e. only complete the move attendee operation after the customer has paid an extra admin fee, in a similar way to a ticket purchase. In other words the move attendee request is only completed (automatically) after the customer has paid using the EE build methods to connect with external payments providers..

Hi there,
Not currently, that wasn’t the intended use case for the attendee mover add-on. It was designed as a way for the admin to move users rather than to charge an admin fee to automatically move them around.

Is an attendee self service transfers add on on your road map?
It comes in waves, but sometimes it cost us much time to move attendees between recurring events. A self service would be very handy add on, although to make it work would require a number of special settings / constraints and an extra payment section / option to complete the transfer…

Not currently as it leaves a lot open to be abused and then the various ways in which people will want it to work mans it quickly becomes a complex feature to add.

Exactly, there’s a lot that goes into a feature like the above, it sounds fairly simple at first but quickly becomes much more complex. We designed the attendee mover as a way for the admin to be able to move registrations without having to cancel them and redo them, moving that to the front end was not something we planned on doing with that add-on.
