I’d like to mark my attendees on my smartphone at my events as Attended on the attendee list when they show up to an event and be able to view all the columns of the Attendee Lists in the events. But the columns break off and I cannot view them on any mobile device but they are viewable on a PC or tablet. How can I get these columns all viewable on a mobile? See image at following link for what I am seeing: http://theinstantartist.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/image1.png WP 4.0, EE3- Version 3.1.36.6.P, http://www.theinstantartist.com/calendar |

Hi, There isn’t an easy way to get the columns viewable on mobile devices as mobiles tend not to be table friendly. WordPress’ own solution for this is to remove columns (see All Posts for an example), which would of course reduce the effectiveness of the EE table. Why not use the mobile app? You have the ticketing addon available with your licence, and it provides a mobile centric experience to mark attendees in and out. |

The mobile app doesn’t show at a glance the number of tickets the attendee paid for, nor does it show at a glance if the attendee paid or if payment is incomplete, not is it sortable by last name which I need to easily find attendees to check them in at my events quickly. At my events I have to constantly keep an eye on how many seats I have left so I can direct attendees as they arrive where they can find a chair. I cannot do this f I cannot easily at a glance count how many people are left to arrive. I’ve been printing out the exported attendee list before each of my events but wanted a way to do this on my mobile instead. |
Hi, You may be able to improve presentation of the information by removing additional columns so that more space becomes available for the existing columns: http://cl.ly/image/3s1V402w2g3d — |

Lorenzo– Tried that but it doesn’t work. Removing columns on a mobile device just removes the columns but doesn’t alter the width of the columns you keep. |
Hi, I tested this on my iPhone and I was able to drop most of columns and get it to show the information: http://cl.ly/image/302g1p1c0U2a It looks like this should also work for you if you drop one more of the columns. — |

Lorenzo– That’s because the columns you chose to show are next to each other. I need to see Attendee Name, Attended (to see how many tickets they bought), and Status (to see if they paid or not). It’s only 3 columns and should show up but it’s not. |

This is a little plugin that might help, it just hides the un-needed columns, when on smaller screen sizes – http://pastebin.com/RVcrW0d4 |

Dean– Nice…the plugin gave me exactly the columns I need for Attendee List except the checkbox so I can mark them attended. Also it messed up the columns on the Event Overview so now I cannot tell which event to click on to view attendees. Is there a way I can adjust this? Sorry I’m not a web designer… just an artist trying to teach painting classes 🙁 |

Hi, I’ve adjusted the code so it now should only affect the attendee page, not the event overview page. |
|
It’s still missing the checkbox before the attendee name so I can take action (like checking them as attended and deleting and such). Can you fix that please? |

Sorry for the slow response, I’ve updated it to included the checkbox area as well http://pastebin.com/RVcrW0d4 |
