Hi there, I knew this question has been asked a couple of times here, but since I found them on the old forum site, and seems like I can’t find the right thread through the search bar, I decided to make one.

Basically, the required question group (first name, last name, email) doesn’t appear under the “Event Questions” window. I learned that this should be selected by default. I have to make a new question set (first name, last name, email) but the system didn’t pick the info up.

Can anyone help? I’m noob with coding so please be slow with me. Thanks!

(The problem starts when I installed the full version of EE…previously it’s fine using the free version)

Which version number of Event Espresso and which add-ons are installed? It sounds like there may be an issue with updating from the free version to the paid version.

Josh, Chris sent me an email with how to resolve this. He advised me to deactivate the permission add-on. Problem solved.

Thanks for your help =)

I’m having a similar problem with our setup at http://fusecoop.com/?page_id=594

Anytime we have someone register for an event, the attendee name comes through blank.

I’ve tried disabling plugins, changing themes, reinstalling event espresso, resinstalling WP and none of that seems to be working.

By disabling plugins, did you disabled the permission plugin? I did that and it worked. In the event information, see the “Event Questions” window. There should be one saying “Personal Information” without any tick box at the right side. This set of questions asks people for their first / last name as well as email address. If you have the permission plugin faulty then the “Personal Information” won’t show. If you already disable the permission, double check the questions under question groups option. The first name, last name, and email address under the “Personal Information” group must be ticked. I didn’t remember last time but I did review the questions again after disabling the permission plugins and have to rebuild the questions because the first name, last name, and email address is somehow get unticked.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jay,

Was this a clean install of Event Espresso, or was it updated from the lite version?

Same issue – we have over 800 attendees – and now the list shows up as a blank page…
i assume some sort of time out issue could be the cause?
thanks!

Great to hear that jomo, so HTTPS plugin is the culprit. Good to know.
