I have loaded an event that runs every 30 minutes at our store. At this moment we can only accommodate 2 people for every 30 min slot. The plugin allows only two people to book for whole day and then it closes the event. How can I have one event, that has multiple time slots per day, and allow 2 people to book PER TIME SLOT, (not the total)? In other words, 2 people can book for 09:00, 2 people can book for 10:00. 2 people can book for 11:00 …all on the same day? |
There is a experimental feature that can be turned on in Event Espresso>General settings labeled: “Use registration limits on time slots?” |

Hi Josh, Seems like there is a bit of an issue, the 30min slots should allow only 2 people to book per slot. But today discovered that sometimes 3 people can book for the same slot. This is causing some chaos in our store as we only have 2 technicians. There anyway I can assure that only 2 people can book per slot? |
Are group registrations set to yes? |

I see the group registration was set as “No”. What does this feature do? |
If you’re using the time slot limit feature, group registrations should be set to no. Otherwise, it will allow x many groups to register for a time slot, which you wouldn’t want. The one possibility would be if someone had started the registration process, but didn’t finish right away. While that registration was still in progress, someone else may have started and finished another registration for the same event. Once the other finishes, that could lead to a double booking. This has happened when events sell out quickly. The dev team is working on adding a new feature where there will be something like real-time availability tracking, so if an event sells out while someone is in the middle of registering, they will get a notification that the event is sold out and will not be able to finish the registration they’ve started. The other possibility is that the max attendee limit for the event has been set. Has that been set, and if so, what number was set? |

Ok cool, The limit was set to 2 people per time slot. This has happened only once that 3 people booked for the same slot (with a max set at 2). Will keep checking for the updated version with the real time limits. Thank you very much:) |
