Hello,

Is there an easier way to get an overview of what people chose in a custom question field upon registration?

For example, I have a custom question where the registrant chooses “Beef” or “Fish”. It would be great if I could click on “Event Overview” and then “Attendees” to see this added to the list. Either that, or having the exported Excel document contain that info would be awesome. The only way I can find the data is by clicking on each individual attendees name. I’m just wondering if there is an easier way.

Thanks!

Hello!

Great questions.

Two-part answer:

  1. Answers to custom questions are stored in a separate table in the database than the questions that are included with EE (ie. the ones that show in the Attendee grid). That being said, it will take great customization to make this happen. We have actually been talking about rewriting how those tables work, but that will have to be some time in the future.
  2. The ability to export custom questions and their answers, is included in the 3.1.28 version that we are oh-so-close to releasing. We are tying up a few loose ends before we release it… soon!
