I will eventually have a great deal of events available on my site. Is there a way to allow event contacts to have access to just their event in the backend of WP? Ideally, I’d like them to have their own login to view their attendees, etc. Is this possible? Or is there another solution for this?

Hi Matt,

This is possible, but retroactively it would be difficult (database edits).

If you only want it to happen going forward then you can use the Roles and Permissions (RP) Basic and RP Pro addons. (RP Pro requires RP basic to be installed).

These will allow you to allocate users special roles such as the Event Manager or Regional Event Manager roles.

With the Event Manager, they can log in and create events, but only access those events.

Regional Managers can do the same, but they can also access any event that has been assigned a locale (region) to it.

Thanks Dean. Is the RP add-on available for EE4?

Hi Matt,

No it isn’t currently.
