Assign Event to Product in Infusionsoft

How do we assign an EE event to a specific product already setup in InfusionSoft instead of EE creating new products?

Also, it seems as though a new product is created in InfusionSoft for each ticket price of that specific event.

I’m afraid the API only allows for creating new products at this time.

Also, it seems as though a new product is created in InfusionSoft for each ticket price of that specific event.
