Is there a way to hide events that have expired? I know there is the filter I can use to only view open events, but some sort of archive ability would be great and help me condense the back end. I have four pages of events and most are closed, but I would like to keep the data around for reference.

Have you looked at exporting the event data into CSV? This is something that can be done right now in Event Espresso3.1. Other than exporting into CSV, there isn’t a separate event status area where these events could be archived to.
