Hi
In my events, I have multiple events so a single person can can register multiple people for a single or multiple events. I need to be able to charge a fee per registrant (for insurance). Is there a way I can add on a fee automatically for each registrant on the checkout page?

Thanks

Hey there,

You can add price modifiers to each ticket to add a surcharge, or fee. You can do this by clicking “Add Price Modifier” when adding a ticket.

Hi
When you refer to a ‘ticket’ are you referring to an ‘individual’?

If one person registers 3 people for an event, I need to be able to charge an extra fee for each person automatically and have that fee show in the checkout page.

Not sure if I understand your instructions. Can you clarify a bit more please.

Thanks

If you’re using Event Espresso 3, you set your fee amount in the Surcharge field. Here’s a screenshot that shows an example of a $4.00 fee:

Yes I am using EE3. I see that this pricing is on the event but does it/ will it apply to each person that is registered. This looks to me like it will apply to the event that is registered? So if I am registering 3 people for 1 event and all 3 people needs to be charged an extra fee. Also I am using the Multiple Event Registration add on as well.

The fee will apply to each registration.

Thanks. This does seem to work for me.
Much appreciated.
