Approved tickets with amount paid 0$

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing some cases in which the customer buys a ticket, the ticket amount is charged in his bank account and in our system the ticket appears as approved, but the transaction appears as incomplete and the amount paid is 0€ even when he’s been charged for the ticket.

What’s the problem? Most of them don’t even receive the tickets via e-mail.

Do you have any caching enabled on the site?

Which payment method are you using?

What do you mean by caching?
We’re currently using RedSys payment gateway via an external payment module for Event Espresso 4 from https://modulosdepago.es/events-espresso-redsys?keyword=event%20espresso&category_id=0

What do you mean by caching?

Caching plugins such as W3 Total Cache, there are too many to list here, but any form of plugin that ‘speeds up the site’.

We’re currently using RedSys payment gateway via an external payment module for Event Espresso 4

About 75% of the code run when making a payment is handled by the payment method itself, in this case, the RedSys payment method made by a 3rd party, which means this is more likely to be an issue with the payment method than EE core.

If you temporarily switch to say Stripe and test payments using that, do you get the same issue? (The reason I recommend testing with Stripe is creating a test account with them takes minutes)
