my classes are listed at k9noseetime.com/onlineclasses when someone registers with 2 dogs and makes a payment of $400 and I apply the payment manually – its only showing as $400 against 1 dog – just wondering how I can resolve this or is it due to the way I have set up the on line registration and if so is there a better way to do this please? |
Hello, If that is a full payment, then it would clear the balance that due for the specific transaction. What is the balance on the transaction details screen for this specific transaction? — |
|
|
the balance on the transaction screen is 0 but its applied $400 to one dog and not $200 to each. This works ok if 1 person enters 2 dogs in different events – but i run into this issue if 1 person enters 2 dogs in the same event – should i ticket this differently (k9nosetime.com/onlineclasses)? |

Hi Lorenzo are you able to point me to some documentation to show how to set up an event where the same person might register 2 or 3 times please? i couldnt find anything on line re this – thanks |
Hi, could you share a screenshot of this specific transaction in the transaction details page? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots — |

yes i will share a screenshot tomorrow could you please answer this also – Hi Lorenzo are you able to point me to some documentation to show how to set up an event where the same person might register 2 or 3 times please? i couldnt find anything on line re this – thanks |
Hi, A registrant is counted for each ticket option so if you set a limit of say 10 on an event, then a registrant could register for 1 ticket or multiple ticket options. If you are wanting to restrict the ticket options in a single transaction (e.g. register up to two tickets) for an event at once, then adjust the maximum ticket option in the top right area of the event editor. And to expand upon the above, if you need to collect contact information for each registrant, then enable the personal question group for additional attendees through the event editor and then save changes. — |

Hello, That transaction does not match your original description where a $400 payment was applied. Is this a different transaction? — |
|
|
yes different transaction as i had to fix the original one manually – but same issue |
Hello, I’m not sure that I understand what the issue is so I’ll share feedback based on your screenshot. If a registrant/attendee starts a registration and then enters their information and pays, then they would receive a status of registration approved. At that point they are counted against the limit that may be set on the event. In your screenshot, the balance that is due is $400 and there was a payment of $200 made so it is incomplete since they still owe money. Payments are applied against the total balance so if you were to apply another payment of $200, then the balance would move to zero and the transaction should then become complete. Since there is no balance due at that time, then the registration status would be registration approved. — |

OK let me try to explain more clearly with screen shots registration screen – 1 user enters 3 events @$30 each total $90 payment screen shows $90 when i export registrations for this event to CSV file this is what I see is there any way to show instead of the 90 90 hope that makes it clear? |
Thanks. I understand now. Could you remove the payment and then apply $30 payments individually using this option: A more expanded screenshot: — |
|

how do i reach that screen please – under view transaction and apply payment? |
Yes, that is correct. It is the screen from your second screenshot. — |
