We have a class that charges $149 but I have an attendee that wants to take 2 classes and we wnat to only charge him $100 ($49 discount) – he gave us his credit card info, so how do I register him for a class but only charge his card $100? I dont have any promo codes setup for this event.

Well, if you’re not going to make the attendee register themselves, then you can register them manually for each class. Apply whatever amount of the payment toward each event and then set the payment and registration to complete or paid.

Thanks Garth, so if I register them my website is already programmed with the price built in for $149 – exactly how do I register and pay $100 instead of $149? Is there some backend admin way I can manually charge them a custom rate for the event?

Garth, I see how to manually ADD an attendee but I have their credit card info and I dont see how to make the credit card payment when I add them? Also, how would I make a credit card payment for an attendee that registered already but has not yet paid??

You can’t process payments manually through Event Espresso, you’ll need to log into your merchant account provider’s website and process the payment. In Authorize.net they call it the Virtual Terminal.
