Hi,
Are there any plans for Event Espresso having payments taken with apple/google pay. We are currently using stripe and it appears to be compatible with apple/google pay. At this day and age with people using mobiles for transaction it should be a built in feature with stripe
I have seen that Square payment gateway allows this, but my concern is another plugin to add this facility. Also can you have both plugins ie stripe and square pay at the same time.
Please can you provide answers to these queries.

Hi there,
Apple/Google pay support is a per payment method feature rather than something we can build directly into Event Espresso itself.
Stripe does indeed support this and I’ll check in with our developers to see if we can add it to the Stripe payment method (I believe we’ve discussed this previously and at the time could not add it in, but it should be possible now so will double check either way).

Yes, you can have multiple payment methods activated at the same time. Stripe and Square can be run together.

Thanks Tony, please, let me know after you have spoken with the developers, it would be handy to keep it within stripe payment method.
Thanks also for clearing up the square and stripe being activated at the same time
