I can not login with the app. I get the error message: The data is not in the correct format

Hi,

It looks like your site might have a plugin that’s restricting access to the WordPress REST API. May I ask are there any plugins like that activated on your site?

We use the plugins Authenticator and Shibboleth.

Hi,

I checked the Authenticator plugin and as far as I can tell, it blocks all REST API requests. Even requests that include Basic Authorization. You could contact the developer of the Authenticator plugin and ask them if they can change the plugin so it can allow REST API requests that include HTTP Authentication (Basic) with Username/Password of the WordPress account.
