API for PayPal Payment Method

I am trying to set up a payment method using paypal express. I have to enter my API codes into the payment method setup, but when I go to paypal to get my codes, it ask for a third party permission username. I’m guessing it is trying to grant Event Espresso permission to transact through Paypal…correct? If this is the correct steps to accomplish setting up a paypal method, then what is the “third party permission username”? If this is not the correct way to get this done, can you advise me on what to do?

Hi,

It sounds like you’re trying to use an API that’s not supported by the PayPal Express gateway that’s bundled within Event Espresso 4 core. If you’re using that one, you’ll follow this guide to locate your API credentials:
