Any update on purging old events?

Has there been any update on purging old events? I have a site with over 16k registrations and I’d like to get it down to just the events I have going on right now. I would really like to only retain data long enough for the event to close then get rid of it all. I don’t want to keep any personal data longer than I need. I have events running all year and I just can’t un-install EE, drop the tables and re-install it to purge my data.

Please let me know if some form of event purging is coming soon to EE4 or if it’s been added in the last few months.

Hi James,

They do have a plan to build a feature that can be used to bulk delete transactions, with chained delete of related registrations & payments.

I have no time estimate of when this feature will be added but I can update this topic when it becomes available.
