EE3 is only capable of reCAPTCHA v1 which is becoming obsolete. Ive seen a couple of forums that dead end with no true solution. is this being looked into?

No because Event Espresso 4 has reCaptcha v2.

What? Only EE4 will have reCaptcha v2? This is not ok. Since EE3 has features I KNOW we need, that EE4 DOES NOT have, (that is why we are still using EE3 – payment gateways, and other features we need and use)…so all us EE3 users are going to have no reCaptcha spam protection because we are not on EE4? Yet we pay licensing fees for EE3. It’s not appropriate to leave paying EE3 users without spam control on the forms. If you’re going to do that, then the EE4 Feature development needs to allow for migration without loss of features, so we can get over to EE4.

Event Espresso 3.1.37.13.p was released today and it includes the update to the reCAPTCHA module.
