Hi – we want to move to EE4 from EE3. Do any discounts apply?

Hi ssarasvati,
EE4 is actually included within all EE3 licenses (whilst it is in Beta), so there is no additional cost for EE4.
If you go to You Account Page you’ll find EE4 and the EE4 Calendar (as that is the only compatible Add-on currently) in the downloads section, Blue icons for EE4, Green icons for EE3.

Remember to make a Full Site Backup before updating and we recommend you copy the site to a staging area first (either locally or on the same server) and update there first to see if there are any issues.

Thanks! If we upgrade our EE3 license to business, will the EE4 beta version we have access to also be the business version?

Yes and no 🙂
EE4 uses a different pricing structure to EE3.
The difference between the EE3 licenses is basically the Add-ons that are included, so no you would not have a business license EE4, but only because there is no business license version.
The core version of EE4 will be the same, over time we will release more Add-ons that will work with EE4. If the equivalent Add-on is included within the EE3 Business License you will have access to that Add-on with EE4.
