Hello I am getting the following error: error with Endpoint url. I am using a user who has admin access, I have already tried disabling my membership plugin (S2memeber), I am sure that I am using the correct url, with the correct password..etc.
I could really do with some help in getting this working.
To scan tickets you would need to use a barcode scanner using a desktop/laptop computer, or you can use a bluetooth barcode scanner with a mobile device.
Hi Tony,
Thanks for explaining the above, it all makes sense now..It is a shame as I did love the EE App, but now EE4 requires an additional cost for barcode scanner – this is a bit backward in my opinion; however I am sure you guys have your reasons.
We would have loved to be able to integrate EE4 with the ticketing app, however this isn’t possible due to the differences between EE3 and EE4.
A new system will need to be built to allow a ticketing app to communicate with EE4, the barcode add-on allows users to use built in functions within EE4 to scan tickets from within the dashboard and allows users to do so without the need for a full ingratiation of an app (which will take a significant amount of time to build)
A quick note about barcode scanners if you are looking, there are a couple of types and it is recommended to use a CCD scanner for best results on phone screens.
Hi Tony,
Thanks for your honest feedback and also for your recommendation on scanners.
Regards,
Rich
