Jonathan,

I have already send you login credentials. If you don’t mind could you please look in to it and reply us ASAP. we have a client waiting for the answer. We had launched the site two days ago and started having this problem. On our development everything still works but on live it is a problem.

I am looking at your site now.

Okay. It looks like you have highly customized the event registration system. I don’t want to break anything. Do you have access to plugin files via FTP? Try renaming the templates directory by clicking the “Rename Templates Directory” under Template Settings in Event Espresso. It’s possible that you have some outdated template files.

Also, try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non-Event Espresso plugins, then test to see if the problem is still occurring. If it isnt then we know it is a plugin conflict. To find out which one, activate each plugin individually testing for the issue after each activation. If the issue occurs after activating a plugin, this plugin is the culprit.

i mean to say i tried to use default copy of template plus disabled other plugin. it did not really help. i am going to try to copy our dev version templates to live and see if it fixes anything. i am just confused how is it still working on our dev.

According to your template settings, the permissions on your templates directory are incorrect.

In order for the system to see your files, you need to set the permissions to 775 on the following directory.

we are running the site on windows server. Which permission should I be giving to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wp-content\uploads\espresso\templates folder?

Please see here: https://eventespresso.com/requirements/

“Please be aware that Event Espresso (as well as most other plugins) may not function properly when used on Godaddy, Yahoo, and most Windows/IIS based servers.”

Here is a good article on File Permissions for Windows Servers: http://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/file-permissions/

Hi Jonathan,

so I think there is a problem with the new plugin. I was able to fix the issue by copying templates from our dev enviroment. EE broke after we upgrade to 3.1.28.2. Thanks again for your help.

Irina, Please see here for information on template files: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-event-espresso/ Many problems can occur if you have old template and gateway files in wp-content/uploads/espresso/
We are constantly making improvements to the template files. This is why we ask our users to check their template files against the ones in the plugin to make sure they are compatible with the new version.
If you have modified templates, they need to be updated to the new template files included with the current version of the plugin.
