I’ve tried clearing browser data, but this error is occurring when I try to add an event registration to the cart, and was reported by my customer as well. I tried multiple time to clear cookies, cache, and history, no luck. Been in and out – and this error is occurring on all of my events. Help!
Can you go to edit the events and make sure they have valid prices set up in the editor? You may need to remove invalid prices in the editor if there are extras, then re-save the event.
I’m don’t understand, sorry. What do you mean by “valid prices”? The prices are $0.00, and that is in the event editor. But this seems to be occurring on every event that has $0.00 price associated. If there is a price (we have a few events that require pre-payment) there is no error, only when the total cart price is $0.00. All of these ‘zero’ price events have just one price noted, no ‘extras’.
A valid price is a price saved in the database that’s associated with the event. A valid price can be $0.00, but it does need to be associated with the event.
Can you try this? Go in to edit the event, add a new price (you can set the price to 0.00) then delete the original price, then save the event. After you do that, does the error occur when you try to register for that event?
Unless you did something, I may have fixed it… I cleared the cache in WordPress and deleted cache, and it’s working. Is that why? Or did you fix something else? Thank you.
I’m guessing clearing cache worked. We’ve set up and used thousands of events and never had this issue before, so I think the set-up was fine. Thanks, Josh!
